Kittens~

The cat at our barn gave birth to a third litter of five kits and they are sooo adorable! The owner was going to get the mama spaded but they found out she got pregnant again so she's rescheduled to get that done sooner or later... I've grown attached to one of the orange kits and I've named him Achilles. There's a futon couch thing behind their pen and I like to go lay on it with Achilles and after a few minutes of him constantly falling into a small wedge between the couch and I, we decided to have a battle which consisted of me poking my fingers at his belly and him nibbling and grappling onto me. After doing this for a few minutes, he decides to climb up my arm and starts attacking my shoulder which would technically be the base of the finger attacks. I thought it was very tactful of him so I named him Achilles. I haven't really read much on Achilles but it was the first name that came to mind and hey, why not?

I don't think I'll be taking him home but maybe I'll get lucky? I promised myself that if I ever got a cat, I'd give them a warrior name as long as it wasn't ridiculous but oh well. My sister named the two black kits in the litter Blue and Aphrodite and then she kept copying my Greek origin names and named the other two orange kits Zeus and Percy. We're certainly not keeping the name 'Zeus'...

I'm not sure if he's in the picture but if he is, he'd be the one in the foreground, extending his paw against his mother. 'Zeus' is the fluffy one in the middle and the black kit at the end of the row is Aphrodite.

Meh.... I really think the first kit is Percy but I dunno. Achilles's fur was medium and I could distinguish Percy by the very tan lines under his eyes. fgjhrogijrmc
